The Beretta APX is a striker fired polymer framed modular self-defense pistol designed to meet the needs of today’s military, law enforcement, and private citizens. A lightweight ergonomic polymer frame holds the serialized trigger module that can be swapped to different frames to change color, or eventually size (i.e. full size to compact). To help fit the Beretta APX to various shooters hands, each polymer frame has interchangeable backstraps in 3 sizes and has an accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers. The trigger breaks very clean and has very little pre-travel, and 3-dot sights makes the Beretta APX an extremely accurate gun. With ambidextrous slide stop and reversible magazine release, the Beretta APX is left hand friendly. The most striking thing about the Beretta APX are the cocking serrations on the slide, wider and easier to grip as compared to similar competing pistols. With multiple internal safeties like firing pin block, drop safety as well as a trigger style safety that prevents the trigger from being activated without direct rearward pressure.
